On July 29, the County officially broke ground for the Core Building at the Baltimore County Center for Maryland Agriculture. The 14,200 square foot building will house agriculture support agencies such as the Soil Conservation District and the Baltimore County Office of the University of Maryland Cooperative Extension Service. The building also contains large gathering spaces, meeting rooms and exhibit space to be used by agricultural related volunteer groups. The building is situated on a 150 acre former farm located at 1114 Shawan Road in Hunt Valley and is scheduled to open in the fall of 2010. Information: 410-887-2904 Back to top
