Planning Board Public Hearings

Landmarks Preservation Commission Meeting

Cherry Hill Road Extension
Cherry Hill Road is being extended to Owings Mills Boulevard (ADC Map 16 E-9) this year with the construction of a bridge over Gwynns Falls and the CSX Rail Road. The bridge and roadway connection will be approximately 800 feet long and construction crews are expected to break ground spring 2010. Estimated cost: $10 million.

Water Line under RR Track
Public Works is planning to add water pipes this December where Timber Grove Road crosses the CSX tracks south of Glyndon. The new line, which will cost $378,000, is expected to improve water quality in the area and enhance fire protection. The job will be finished in early 2010, say engineers.

Robert E. Lee Park Bridge
Baltimore County is currently removing the superstructure of the Robert E. Lee Park Bridge in the Lake Roland area. A new superstructure will be constructed next spring at an estimated cost of $1.5 million.

Stevenson Sewage Pumping Station
Baltimore County is replacing the Stevenson Sewage Pumping Station. The renovations, which are expected to cost about $1 million, will begin this winter and should be completed by March, 2011. The improvements are mandated by the EPA to improve the County's network of lines and stations and to reduce sanitary sewerage overflows.
