Baltimore County Planning Board Meeting

Landmarks Preservation Commission Meeting

Old Court Water Line Extension to Serve 27 Houses
Public Works is extending water service along Old Court Road, between Greenlea Drive and Grasty Road, to serve 27 homes in the community. The project, costing $1 million, began in September and is expected to be completed in November. The new line will run almost five thousand feet. Information: enginrng@baltimorecountymd.gov.
DPW contractors began cleaning and repainting (inside and out) two water storage tanks on Pleasant Hill in June. Work on the tanks, which together hold 1.3 million gallons of water, should be finished by December. The cost: $900,000. Information: enginrng@baltimorecountymd.gov.
The Department of Public Works has undertaken a major water line rehabilitation in the Ruxton area between Belona, Malvern, Charles and Joppa roads. Old pipes serving about 600 homes will be cleaned and lined to improve pressure for the community. The contractor's mobilization began in April, and the project will require a year to eighteen months. About 50 percent is now complete. Information: enginrng@baltimorecountymd.gov.
Extension to Brenbrook Drive Under Construction
Public Works is constructing a 500-foot extension to Brenbrook Drive in order to connect the artery to Old Court Road. Work, which began in July, should be completed next spring or summer, say engineers, who estimate that the job will cost $1 million. Information: enginrng@baltimorecountymd.gov.
