Planning Board Meetings

The Baltimore County Planning Board meetings schedule is as follows:

  • Thursday, July 3, meeting is Canceled
  • Thursday, July 17 at 4:30 p.m. in Room 104, Jefferson Building, 105 West Chesapeake Avenue, in Towson.

Planning Board Public Hearing

The Baltimore County Planning Board Public Hearing will be held on Thursday, July 17 at 5 p.m. in Room 104, Jefferson Building, 105 West Chesapeake Avenue, in Towson.

The following issues will be addressed:

  • Cycle 32 Water and Sewer Amendments
  • Patapsco Heritage Area Management Plan

Traffic Calming on Greengage Road

Greengage Road, between Fairbrook and Security Boulevard, recently qualified for two speed humps. The traffic calming measures are scheduled to be installed this summer.

Traffic Calming

Fairbrook Road, between Rolling Road and Greengage, in the Chadwick Manor-Security community, recently qualified for traffic calming measures. Plans, which include four speed humps, have been submitted to residents for review and approval by the County’s traffic engineers.

Landmarks Preservation Commission Meeting

The Landmarks Preservation Commission meeting will be held on Thursday, July 10, at 6 p.m. in Room 104 of the Jefferson Building, 105 West Chesapeake Avenue in Towson.

Water Main to Serve Howard County

Last October contractors began replacing a 36-inch diameter water main running from the railroad tracks, near Clark Boulevard, down to South Street and then through the Patapsco State Park. The new line, which will serve Howard County, will be 5,500 feet long. The pipe project should be finished in two years. According to engineers, it is about 25 percent complete.
