EPS Variances

The Department of Environmental Protection and Sustainability (EPS) publishes a list of the environmental administrative variance requests along with their status. The requests are listed by County Council District.

Planning Board Meetings

The Baltimore County Planning Board meeting schedule is as follows:

Traffic Calming

Fairbrook Road, between Rolling Road and Greengage, in the Chadwick Manor-Security community, recently qualified for traffic calming measures. Plans, which include four speed humps, have been submitted to residents for review and approval by the County’s traffic engineers.

Water Main to Serve Howard County

Last October contractors began replacing a 36-inch diameter water main running from the railroad tracks, near Clark Boulevard, down to South Street and then through the Patapsco State Park. The new line, which will serve Howard County, will be 5,500 feet long. The pipe project should be finished in two years. According to engineers, it is about 25 percent complete.
