The Department of Environmental Protection and Sustainability (EPS) publishes a list of the environmental administrative variance requests along with their status. The requests are listed by County Council District.

Planning Board Meetings

The Baltimore County Planning Board meetings schedule is as follows:

  • Thursday, February 6, at 5 p.m. in Room 104, Jefferson Building, 105 W. Chesapeake Avenue, in Towson.
  • Thursday, February 20, at 4 p.m. in Room 104, Jefferson Building, 105 W. Chesapeake Avenue, in Towson.

Landmarks Preservation Commission Meeting

Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee – Citizen Input Meeting

The Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee Citizen Input meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 11, at 5 p.m. in Room 104 of the Jefferson Building, 105 W. Chesapeake Avenue in Towson.

Mark your calendars for the Citizen Input Meeting on Pedestrian and Bicycle Improvements

The Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee is interested in hearing your suggestions for new bicycle or pedestrian improvements that could be candidates for grant funding – projects that are low in cost, make it easier or safer for you to access destinations by walking or cycling, and have the support of the community.

Traffic Calming on Greengage Road

Greengage Road, between Security Boulevard and Fairbrook has been approved for speed humps. Public Works traffic engineers have submitted plans to residents for review and approval.

Water Main to Serve Howard County

In October, contractors began replacing a 36-inch diameter water main running from the railroad tracks, near Clark Boulevard, down to South Street and then through the Patapsco State Park. The new line, which will serve Howard County, will be 5,500 feet long. The pipe project should be finished in two years. According to engineers, it is about 15 percent complete.
