UDAT Week Forum and Events, June 7-13

Highlights:
June 7A large-scale public forum for all audiences designed to gather community views and recommendations, taking place from 7 - 9 p.m. at the newly renovated Center for the Arts at Towson University, Cross Campus Drive with parking in Union garage.
Panel Discussions
These are open conversations between team members and selected experts and representatives. We encourage you to attend. Generally, there are no formal opportunities for public comment during these discussions, but informal dialogue may occur. Panel Discussions take place at the studio.
June 8

Two panel discussions are taking place between 1 - 5 p.m. at the Studio.

Part A of the first panel, from 1 - 1:45 p.m., will explore issues concerning the County's development review process. Points of view from the government, developers and citizens will be represented. Part B of the first panel, from 1:45 - 2:30 p.m., will explore why the private sector is interested in developing projects in Towson.

The second panel, from 2:45 - 4:15 p.m., will explore neighborhood quality of life. Representative from several Towson area neighborhoods will be on hand.

June 9

Three panel discussions are taking place between 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

The first panel, from 9 - 10 a.m., will explore the vibrancy of downtown Towson businesses and how to foster a healthy Main Street environment that attracts visitors and desirable private investment.

The second panel, from 10:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m., will discuss the institutions that surround Towson, including County government, local health care institutions, Towson University and Goucher College, and their plans for the future.

The third panel, from 2 - 3:30 p.m, will examine how we manage traffic and make Towson inviting and functional for the pedestrian?

Interim Feedback 
Let the team know how they're doing in give-and-take comment sessions before the final presentation. 
June 9From 4 - 6 p.m., discuss themes during small-group brainstorming sessions as the team begins to distill input and shape initial concepts.
June 11 From 2 - 4 p.m., see the team's early drawings, comment on what you see and review proposed solutions to area challenges
Final Presentation 
June 13See renderings that capture a new vision for Towson on the big screen at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13 at the UDAT studio, Towson Commons, 415 York Road.
