Baltimore Beltway from the West

I-695 to the York Road exit south toward Towson. Just after you pass the Investment Building on your left, proceed carefully around the rotary in the center of downtown Towson and continue south on York Road. Approximately two miles south of the rotary, just past a Crown gas station on your left, you will see on your left a large, recently renovated, two-tone, off-white, two- and three-story office building set back from the street in a strip mall. The building has a Rite Aid pharmacy under it. Across the street is another, larger strip mall with a Giant supermarket. If you reach Walker, Gittings, or Lake Avenue or Northern Parkway, you have gone too far south on York Road.

Baltimore Beltway from the East

I-695 to the Dulaney Valley Road exit south toward Towson. Just after you pass the Investment Building on your right, proceed carefully around the rotary in the center of downtown Towson and continue south on York Road. [If you find that you end up at the beltway again, you went north on York Road-wrong!] Approximately two miles south of the rotary, just past a Crown gas station on your left, you will see on your left a large, recently renovated, two-tone, off-white, two- and three-story office building set back from the street in a strip mall. The building has a Rite Aid pharmacy under it. Across the street is another, larger strip mall with a Giant supermarket. If you reach Walker, Gittings, or Lake Avenue or Northern Parkway, you have gone too far south on York Road.

From Baltimore City

Go north on Greenmount Avenue (which turns into York Road) or go north on York Road toward Towson. Proceed on York Road about 1/2 mile north of Northern Parkway, crossing Lake, Gittings, and Walker Avenues. Just north of Gittings and Walker Avenues you will see on your right a large, recently renovated, two-tone, off-white, two- and three-story office building set back from the street in a strip mall. The building has a Rite Aid pharmacy under it. Across the street is another, larger strip mall with a Giant supermarket.

Entrance Instructions

The Office of Community Conservation is on the second floor of the building. Enter the front lobby. Go to the phone on the Left side (next to the Elevators), dial 121 and let the receptionist know you have arrived. Take the elevator to the 2nd Floor, and wait in the lobby for the receptionist to escort you to the Commission office.

Parking

There are a lot of free parking spaces on the grounds of the strip mall, both in front of and behind the building.
