Board of Architectural Review
The Board of Architectural Review is a six member board appointed by the County Executive. Members must be licensed architects residing in or operating their primary business in Baltimore County. Members review drawings and specifications for all new county buildings, including Baltimore County Public Schools, for the purpose of ensuring the County receives the most aesthetically pleasing building for the most cost-effective price.
The board meets on an as needed basis.
There are six members on the board appointed by the County Executive. Members serve three year terms. There are no term limits.
