Rescue Partners

Baltimore County Animal Services is proud to partner with local animal welfare organizations. By working together, we can save lives and give animals a second chance to find safe, loving forever homes. We always welcome new rescue partners to join our program.

Become a Rescue Partner

Prospective rescue partners should review and submit the following PDF documents.

  1. Read the Rescue Partner Policies and Agreement.
  2. Fill out the Rescue Partner Information Sheet.
  3. Review the Transport Agreement.
  4. Submit a signed copy of the agreement, completed information sheet and proof of 501(c)3 status via email to bcasrescue@baltimorecountymd.gov, via fax at 410-817-4257 or by mail to:

Pets Available for Rescue

The following animals are available for transfer only to an approved 501(c)3 rescue organization.

All animals receive routine vaccinations and deworming as appropriate and will be altered prior to leaving. All dogs are heartworm-negative and cats are FIV/FeLV-negative unless otherwise specified. Contact the rescue coordinator at bcasrescue@baltimorecountymd.gov with any questions on the program or to inquire about specific animals.
