The Taxi 2 program allows eligible participants to purchase discount taxi vouchers. Taxi vouchers are available for purchase by CountyRide clients. They may be purchased only from the CountyRide office and will cost $5 for a book of ten, one-dollar vouchers. For people certified by CountyRide as low income, they may be purchased for $2.50 for a book of ten, one-dollar vouchers.
If you are currently registered in the CountyRide program no further form is needed (unless you wish to apply for the subsidized vouchers), but you must contact the office to inform us that you would like to register for the TAXI 2 program.

- Baltimore County residents age 60 or older
- Baltimore County residents who are disabled, age 21–59
All vouchers have a limited time frame for use. Vouchers are good from July 1 to June 30 of the following year. Vouchers must be used before the expiration date (no exceptions.) Vouchers are not refundable and cannot be exchanged.
To purchase a voucher, send a check or money order to CountyRide TAXI 2, 611 Central Avenue, Towson, MD 21204 or stop in the CountyRide office to purchase the vouchers.
Please be sure to contact the company that is nearest to your location. You must notify the Taxi Company that you intend to pay with TAXI 2 vouchers, when you call for the ride.

- You must submit verifiable proof to CountyRide from your physician regarding your disability.
- Wheelchair clients must be able to move from their chair to the taxi with minimal assistance from the driver.
- Wheelchairs must be collapsible for trunk storage.
- Inform the Taxi Company that you are in a wheelchair or have any disability that requires assistance when you make a reservation for a trip.
The TAXI 2 program operates with a limited funding source. Once the funding source is depleted the program will be concluded until funding is renewed.
