1. Gift Sponsors - The gift Sponsor will have its company logo and phone number on 7,000 gifts to be distributed at the entrance to the Expo. The Sponsor's name or logo will be included in promotions, including over 30,000 fliers, which will be distributed at senior centers, libraries, businesses, and other locations. The gift sponsor will also be mentioned in press releases, feature articles and advertisements. The sponsor will receive two free booths, subject to availability, and will be recognized with signage at the event. The cost for this sponsorship is $10,000. There will be a limited number of sponsors selected. 2. Flu Shots - We offer flu and pneumonia shots at Senior Expo/Baby Boomer Expo. These shots are free to those covered by Medicare B and available for a small charge to others. You will have the opportunity to collect those fees, as well as give the shots and collect fees at the 19 Baltimore County senior centers. In addition, your sponsorship will be recognized in publicity relating to the flu shots. You will also have the opportunity to hang your banner in the room where the flu shots are given. This sponsorship is available for $6,000. 3. Expo Building Sponsor - As the sponsor, you will be allowed to place four banners throughout the building you sponsor. You will be recognized with your logo on a minimum of 30,000 fliers and in publicity listing all of the Expo sponsors, and you will receive a free corner or prime booth (subject to availability.) This sponsorship is available for a $5,000 commitment. 4. Expo Entertainment Stage - The Entertainment Stage is a focal point for this event and features continuous entertainment by local performers, most of whom are professionals. Your sponsorship will be noted with your name on 5,000 fliers and on other publicity relating to the entertainment. Your banner (provided by the sponsor) will be prominently displayed at the stage, and you will receive a free corner booth (subject to availability.) This sponsorship is available at a cost of $5,000. Sponsorship of individual performances is also available. 5. Expo Food Tent - Food service at Expo takes place in a tent adjacent to the Exhibition Hall. The sponsor of the Food Tent will be able to have its company's banner (provided by the sponsor) over the entrance to the Food Tent, as well as on the outside of the tent, facing the parking lot. The sponsor's name will be mentioned in publicity related to food service, and two tables with the sponsor's literature can be placed in the Food Tent. This sponsorship is available for $3,500. 6. Expo Senior Center Area - An area in the 4-H Building showcases a variety of activities taking place at senior centers. The sponsor will be able to hang its banner (provided by the sponsor) in the area. The sponsor will also be recognized in publicity and with signage at the event. This sponsorship is available for $3,000. 7. Expo 4-H Building Areas - Three large areas are available in the 4-H Building. This is an ideal place for demonstrations or health screenings. Each area is approximately 78' x 22' and will be divided by curtains. Up to eight six-foot tables and 16 chairs will be provided. Flu/pneumonia shots may not be given, unless the provider is also the flu shot sponsor. The cost for each sector is $3,000. More than one sector may be purchased. Sponsors of the areas will also be recognized with signage in both buildings and in publicity when all sponsors are mentioned. 8. Senior Expo/Baby Boomer Breakfast - The Department of Aging has a free continental breakfast on the morning of the event. This breakfast is geared to professionals, business owners, students, and others interested in the field of aging, and it is anticipated that several hundred people will attend. The sponsor's name will be on fliers promoting the breakfast, as well as in other publicity about this event. In addition, the sponsor's banner (provided by the sponsor) will be hung in the breakfast area, and the sponsor will be recognized with signage at Expo. This sponsorship is available for $3,000. 9. Expo Cashier’s Booth - The sponsor's banner (provided by the sponsor) will be hung at the Cashier's Booth at the main entrance to the Exhibition Hall, and you will be recognized as a sponsor with signage at the event. In addition, you will be recognized in any publicity where all sponsors are mentioned. The cost of this sponsorship is $3,000. The 2008 Get Ready! Get Set! Get Fit! Annual 5K Run/Walk – 1M Walk attracted more than 750 runners, walkers and volunteers. Breakfast foods and an awards ceremony followed the run/walk. This yearly conference is held at the Sheppard Pratt Conference Center and attracts 200 people, mainly professionals in the field of aging.
