Senior Smiles
BCDA, in partnership with The Community College of Baltimore County’s School of Health Professions, is offering preventative oral dental care to seniors. The program, which will provide services through the Dundalk campus Dental Hygiene Program, offers basic preventative dental services to seniors over 60 years of age. Basic services to be provided at no charge include dental screening, cleaning, fluoride treatment and x-rays.
In order to take advantage of this great program, you must utilize the transportation services from participating seniors centers through CountyRide. The transportation cost round-trip from the senior center to the college is FREE for 2011.
To schedule an appointment, stop by your local senior center and pick up an informational packet. The packet contains medical history and other necessary forms that must be completed and brought with you to your scheduled appointment.
