Taking Charge of Your Health
Through the Maryland Department of Aging, BCDA is offering an evidenced-based health promotion program. This program is a six- week workshop developed by Stanford University.
Subjects discussed during sessions include: techniques to deal with fatigue, frustration and isolation; appropriate exercise for maintaining flexibility and improving strength; methods to effectively communicate with family, friends, and health professionals; nutritional guidelines, and strategies to evaluate new treatments.

Franklin Square Hospital,Good Samaritan Hospital and St. Josephs Hospital, are partners of Baltimore County Department of Aging ,are will also offering the workshops. To register at any of the hospitals, please contact their Community Health Education Coordinators.
