Baltimore County Department of Aging has produced two consumer reference guides to help seniors avoid becoming victims of common scams and frauds including: Telemarketing Scams, Door-to-Door Scams, Mail Fraud, Con Games, Vacation Schemes, Home Improvement Cons, Work-at-Home Scams, Investment Scams, Internet Scams, Hearing Aid Scams, Health Care Fraud, Nursing Home Admissions, Funeral-Related Decisions, and Insurance Scams.
Also included is a Directory of Consumer Resources, listing local and national numbers to report suspected economic crime.
