Caregiver Consultations

Family caregivers of older adults residing in Baltimore County can take advantage of free, private consultation with a Caregiver Specialist. During the Caregiver Consultation, the Specialist will provide support and information to help you provide good care for your older relative, while also taking care of yourself. Department of Aging Caregiver Specialists are experienced professionals in the field of aging and will review your caregiving situation to provide guidance and resource suggestions.

Criteria for free Consultation:

  • Senior is age 60 or older
  • Senior is a resident of Baltimore County
  • Senior lives in the community, not in a facility
  • Family caregiver provides hands-on assistance with seniors' needs

To arrange a Caregiver Consultation, call BCDA Senior Information and Assistance at 410-887-2594. Or e-mail aginginfo@baltimorecountymd.gov.
