Q. What is Senior Digest?
A. Senior Digest is a newspaper published eight times a year by Baltimore County Department of Aging. It is filled with useful information including both local and national issues, health, travel and entertainment ideas, legal and financial tips, recipes and nutritional advice, interviews, calendars of events at senior centers, travel opportunities and much more.

Q. How do I get Senior Digest?
A. Senior Digest is available by subscription only and is mailed to subscribers' homes approximately every six weeks. The cost for a year's subscription is $5 for Baltimore County residents aged 60 and over, $7 for anyone else. Call 410-887-3050 or mail your check or money order, payable to Senior Digest, to Senior Digest, 611 Central Avenue, Towson, MD 21204. You may also print out the Senior Digest subscription form and mail back with your check or money.

Q. Can I send a gift subscription for a friend?
A. Yes. Simply follow the instructions above and include your name and phone number. A gift card will be sent to the recipient.

Q. Can I subscribe for more than one year?
A. Yes, you may. Simply multiply the yearly cost (either $5 or $7) by the number of years for which you wish to subscribe and make your check payable for that amount. We regret that we cannot offer discounts for multiple-year subscriptions.

Q. Will I find advertisements in Senior Digest?
A. Yes, you will. Businesses interested in reaching the senior market advertise their products and services in Senior Digest. There are also classified ads placed both by businesses and readers. Non-business classified ads are reasonably priced at 50 cents a word (minimum $2).
