Q. I have been taking care of my parents for over two years, and I need help. Financially there is no problem, but I feel that I am alone and have no one to talk to about my problems. What can I do?

A
. As a part of the "Sandwich Generation" you are not alone and your feelings are very common. The Caregiver Connection is a newsletter published by the Department of Aging, available at no cost, which gives helpful hints and ideas to caregivers. An annual conference is held in November. There are various support groups for caregivers which give the opportunity to talk to others with a similar situation. Funds for respite care may be available. Call 410-887-2594 to discuss options available to you and the ones you care for.
